Description
Rock Art - a tradition of the Old Ones to record events of magico-religious significance.
It is widely accepted that the Spanish introduced the horse to the North American continent. The indigenous peoples, quick to recognize the importance of this creature did not have a word for horse. They called it Big Dog or Sacred Dog. The horse changed how they hunted, how they traveled and how much territory they could cover with their migrations.
This is my depiction of that reverence.
