For thousands of years all life lived in balance.
Mighty trees rich in wisdom, lived in every forest, nurtured for centuries by the Great Mother.
And the hunter-gatherer people of the first nations understood their small part in the great Circle of Life, and lived with reverence for Great Mother, the giver of all life.
Often while gathering berries or nuts, or collecting discarded limbs for implements and fires, they would stop to pay homage to the mighty tree.
Speaking only in whispers, the tree would impart ancient truths and wisdom, and the people would, to the great delight of the tree, tell tales from the lands beyond the trees' own horizons.
